An informant award is better known as AKA "Whistleblower" Being a whistleblower in essence is to report fraud for money to the IRS. It can be a very lucrative job paying up to 30% of the additional tax, penalty, and other amounts up to 2 million. That's right up to 2 million. That's a whole lot of money to be made.
